Summary: "Ultimate Night Light"

This has been a great addition to my 3 year old's room. Using as a night light with glow in the dark stars around it. It is a bit of a battery hog, but it is performing great!

Summary: "Wonderful, Educational and Magical Moon."

Ah, the moon in my room. Actually, my son's room; he's 5. We love this moon. Each night, he chooses a phase of the moon before prayers. He loves clicking through the phases to make his nighly choice. We alternate talking about science and astronomy, space and time, and sharing fantastic stories about who might live on or visit the moon. This is a delightful and eagerly anticipated part of our bedtime routine, and I highly recommend it for children of all ages.

Summary: "good product for the price"

For everyone that says this thing eats batteries, while that might be true, have you ever considered using rechargeables? Seems pretty simple to me. This is not a toy it is a wall hanging that acts in some ways as a night light, I am very impressed with it, my son loves it, he lays in bed at night and watches it till he goes to sleep.

Summary: "Buy this! Kids ages 1 to 100 love it!"

You would be crazy not to buy this thing. Gave this to our 6 year old son who is obsessed with anything related to the solar system. He loves it. It is a great size - not too big, not too small - so it can be placed pretty much on any wall of his room without it seeming too close or too far away. He adores it and falls asleep with it every night. Shuts off automatically after 30 minutes, so perfect to drift off to sleep with. My dad also fell in love with it, and will be receiving one for his 65th birthday this year, and our baby will receive one for her room on her 2nd birthday (will not let her play with the remote, however). Neither my Dad nor our baby girl are obsessed with solar system stuff, but they still love Moon in My Room. This will be our go-to gift for all kids' birthdays this year, absolutely no question about it. A tremendous value for the money.

Summary: "Battery drain"

It looks great but it goes through batteries like crazy. It is really inconvenient to have to take it off the wall and turn it on every time you want to use the remote. It only stays on for a few minutes before the light goes out but within a couple days if you don't turn it off on the back of the moon, the batteries go dead. If it weren't for the battery issue, I would really like it.
